Awesomatix EP Touring Car (A700 Shaft Drive)

The new manual came out at the perfect time for me. I started the build yesterday and made nice progress. So far it's been a very enjoyable and rewarding build, it's just a cool car.
Thanks to Jerry P for getting me through some Diff troubles, easy fix. Unfortunately I think I'm going to rebuild it tonight anyway, the manual calls for 7000wt oil and after seeing a couple setup sheets it seems people are running 2000-4000 range.

I've been starting to run the cars w/o the AM49/AM49-3 brace (fixes clearance issues, and drops a little weight). My cars always have a top deck...

I have not been running the center support for a while. All my cars run topdecks also.

Doesn't the drive shaft start to wip without the center brace for the bearings??
#8332
They are talking about not using the ffg support, not the driveshaft support. Although you can run without the driveshaft support for spec classes like 17.5

we had the A700-AM30-5 brace installed (short than what Evo 2 has -- and what is included in Evo 2C).
i believe Mike Gee is running at John's Mobile today -- one of each chassis. hopefully he can report back.

Thanks to Arno for editable setup sheet for Evo II/IIC!
Suspension rate for S springs was corrected already in this setup sheet version.

Got my evo2 almost done. Just have to clean up some wiring and paint a body. Need some wheel nuts as well, first car I've ever built that doesn't come with them. Build was fantastic, every piece is machined perfectly. Only minor complaint would be a lack of some labeling on the hardware, namely the ball studs. With a little help I realized there were 4.75 and 4.95 studs, only real mistake I made. Thank you to Hanulec and Jerry P for the help throughout the process.

Hey Guys,
last week Team Awesomatix Europe attend at the ETS Rnd.3 in Riccione Italy.
We tested and learned a lot with the new Car on Asphalt during the weekend.
Finaly we found a very good setup which I was able to finish 6th overall in ProStock class.
Viljami had bad luck this weekend in Modified but we are looking forward to ETS Rnd.4 in Mattsee Austria in 2 weeks.
Here you can find my final setup:
