Used grease already. The bind is where the axle clamps on to the joint. Anyone else with the same issue?

Is the rim rubbing the p02? I thought mine were binding as well but it was just the rim rubbing that caused the binding.

the bind is occurring at the uni joint itself. It swings fine at the dog bone axis, but binds heavily at the axle axis. This is with the wheels mounted. No problem with the bearing side.

watch for potential 'extra' anodizing on the ST02 part. you can open the holes up w/ an Xacto knife to make the PIN01 spin freely thru it.

When I shaved a little anodizing off from the ST02 part, it got free once the wheels were mounted per manual. Thanks

Default Caster

This is my Caster checking Gauge, very simple to do,just a ruler, something to keep the ruler upright, thin servo tape, remember you are going to Zero it out before use,its very easy to use,can leave all screws in,ive been using it since the car has come out.Even at race meetings its ok,just need to Zero out on the table before use,but i do have a set of caster doodle,s coming just to add to my setup bling.

quick update from a Reedy Race internet spectator point of view (i.e. could be wrong/could have missed someone)-

13.5 TC- two cars in the show. Last year's TQ, Kyle Bergstrom qualified 2nd. David Zorn qualified 7th. Both Kyle and David race locally on asphalt week over week in Arizona.

Mod TC- two cars in the show. Tony Tam 9th. Kyle Klingforth 10th (Kyle TQ'd round 2).

I haven't seen an invite racer summary posted, but Josh is there driving hard in the heads up style that only the Reedy invite class provides.

Good luck to everyone on the final day of racing!

One last report -- this one from New Jersey/Jackson RC.
Awesomatix swept the top step of the podium. Mike Gee won modified TC and Larry Fairtrace won 17.5 TC.

I had the same issue you need to shave the pin a little just enough to free them up..
