I'm running non-boosted 10.5 and a Speed6 shell.
Can anybody please give me hints to get the car dialed in? It's really undriveable at the moment
Cheers.
I don't really know what the kit setup is... So please post a setup sheet and include tires info.

Try-
More rear droop
More front droop
Lowering the front lower balls as compared to the rear lower balls
Dial down your brakes in esc or start using drag brake. If your car sides under braking then that is a huge problem.

Hey guys, what parts are needed to run a bearing in the ffg for smoother movement instead of that block?

You can find the setup under this link
Could the sliding under braking come from a diff problem, a problem with the gears?
Thanks for your answer

You need a nut as used in the steering, a 1mm spacer, the bearing and a screw.

What tires?
How is the surface prepped?

I don't think this will work outdoors. We have the worlds wa up setups now to post. They would be a better option. Will upload tonight.

My suggestions otherwise include---
You should be running "soft" springs - spr01s.
Hole #2 on the front camber links is better for steering response.
Lenghten your wheel base to 0 caster.
4mm of shim below am23 and at21 for rear toe link is too much of you have rear traction issues. Go to 1.75mm
On the center post perform 0.2mm of shimming front and rear instead of 0.

Thanks mike, as which alloy chassis would you recommend? Building evos for both stock and mod, is the hard coated chassis better?

Tires are Panaracer 36 and the surface isn't prepped at all.
These are the spec tires in France.
I will try what you said and thanks a lot.

There is no perf difference. The hard coated was a limited run -- and sold out globally.

No track prep -- oh boy. That doesn't sound good. Is the dirt/dust blown off?
What about traction compound on tires?

I don't think we have any setups for un-prepped track. You need to make the suspension very soft. Look at the shock setup within--

just ordered the FFG today, Will you have some of the chassis available at Reedy? Might have to spend the first night rebuilding.

An ltc-r would probably be a good idea instead of a speed 6

Hi

here is my set-up sheet for a big un-prep asphalt track with a boosted 10.5t:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzZ...it?usp=sharing

Compared to my set-up sheet, I suggest you to lower the rear lower balls as compared to the front lower balls in the front and in the rear (0.5mm is a good starting point); it will avoid the car getting loose at on-power steering.

I also suggest you to harden a bit the rear shocks and try a softer diff oil.
And as already said, a LTC-R will give you the steering you're lacking of.

PM me if you have any questions.

Best regards,
G-rem

We are alowed to use traction compound on the tires as well as tire warmers
The track isn't blown off at all and full of pollen and dust these months.
I will try to make everything soft, altough it already is quite a lot
Thanks!

@G-Rem
Thanks for the setup!

I will also try an LTC-R for more steering.

Did someone already use the C01-Al chassis in stead of the carbon one on asphalt track? Wich works better?

i don't think we have a definitive answer yet. at the worlds warm up carbon chassis were better. i've heard from my friends in sunny regions of the usa that the aluminum chassis works really well. i think the next big test in the usa will be at the Reedy Race.
