Awesomatix EP Touring Car (A700 Shaft Drive)

When using the floating servo mount, you have to cut the upper ear of your servo, so no problem anymore ;-)

I've found when running the FFG it is good to make room for the drive shaft even when running the outer mounting position. Gives the FFG plenty of room to move around and the drive shaft stays clear from the servo. AM24 floating servo mount does make it a little easier.

Mine was doing the same thing. I took it apart and cleaned everything and coated the out drives inputs with green slime and inside of the halves where the bearings go and orings and I even put some on the threads near the oring so when the diff halves are threaded and assembled it would further seal it up and have yet to have a leak.

I have my A700 Evo just finished the assembly and had run it for two days. I like this car so much but there are many areas that the instruction manual has not provided the needed information. I hope to get the answer here.
1) When should we increase the gap between AM49 and AM48/ AM50? what is the effect if we just increase gap at front AM48 or at rear AM50?
2) the optional top deck C21 is supposed to use on high traction condition correct? Then when to use the smaller top deck C18 ?
Thanks.

this will adjust how weight is transferred front/rear and how the car twists around the center post. small changes have big benefits here. you're adjustments should be in 0.1/0.2mm differences. try the adjustments yourself -- or just stick to a 0.2mm gap and call it a day.
totally moving the dt04 collars away from the am49 will produce a ill handling, pushing car.

c18 is a brace, not a top deck. again, this adjust how the car flexes. i haven't tired it, but if it like any of the braces we tried against the C02-1, it will definitely make you loose rear bite under power.

Will any other Awesomatix Drivers be joining Brian Wynn at the Canadian On Road Nationals in Welland Ontario Canada near Niagara Falls?mThere are presently 73 Stock TC, 31 Super Stock, 21 Mod TC and 63 21.5 Powered Canadian Vintage TransAm entries to date. The Race is at the Centre Court of Seaway Mall. The Race starts a week from this Friday.
Paul - Xray, Keven - Associated, Andrew - Yokomo, Martin - CSO and other drivers will be there in Mod TC and Super Stock.
I'm sure many Canadian Drivers would like to see Awesomatixs in action.
