On Saturday (and only Saturday unfortunately) I'll be trying a production FFG on carbon and a trail aluminum chassis. Prod aluminum chassis might get tried the following weekend.... as we are running out of time before Snowbirds.
Great to see Freddy and Oleg so involved in support of the car.

As for the FFG. I will shaking my car down in a few hours then heading down early tomorrow morning with Hanulec to the Region 2 race. I'll be running an EXL and an EVO on saturday. Not sure which car will get the Mod motor in it.

Hey guys, my friend got his EVO today, mine still on the way, he said the out drive of the spool is very difficult to dissemble, on the manual it shows the way to assemble, press the out drive then twist a little? In my mind he should do the reverse way? Need some tips, thank you!

I'm pretty sure the spool is pressed in so it should be hard to remove. A lot of spools out there are screwed in and get ruined farily quickly. this design has been working for me since the first care i bought over the summer. I've been running the car the way the spool comes and have had no issues.

But on this way, how to change the bearing if necessary?

Yes it's reusable. The car may look a bit fragile, but it is tough as nails.

This weekend at the ROAR region 5 race, I started off struggling. Eventually ended up BQ and won the B main. Not a super finish, but considering other things, it was good. Monti was able to put his best run of the weekend down and nudge out an A main win though.

we all have had our 'b main' weekends. i'm hoping to avoid them over the next two weeks

so if Monti won in Region 5, and Gee won 17.5 in Region 2 --- Awesomatix had a good weekend at ROAR Regional events! that sounds like the making of a redrc post. we had four Awesomatix cars in the 17.5T A-main this past weekend -- Gee, Hoffmeister, Themelis and myself plus 3 cars in the modified A-main -- Gee, Fairtrace, myself.
