No one has got an answer? I guess that i´m not the only one who whant´s to know this.
Hi all,
I would like to know about the handling characteristics between the L and EXL version.
Is one version better for carpet and the other for tarmac? One better for more technical and twisty outline, and the other one better for faster and straighter outline?...
Thanks in advance!!

Both are working well. The L chassis is the narrow one, with the new flex option but you can only run std. Motor layout north/ south. It has little bit more steering and change of load is perfekt.
The EX chassis is little bit wider, has also the new flex options but you can use the transverse motor kit. The chassis has a lot traction and is very easy to drive.
So, L has less rear traction, but good and very fast reaction and EX chassis is maximum easy to drive and very smooth.
All the stock guys at ETS used the L chassis with soft flex settings.

anyone have some tricks on making the front double jointed drive shafts a bit more bullet proof? i had one fly out after an AMAZING day of racing!! will shrink wrap help? or do folks have some better ideas. i found all of the pieces, and then put it back together again (a few times... that axle then continued to have some issues). we will see if all is well next week.
