Hey guys... Putting together my evo... This might be a dumb question, but since the shock assembly's on the front and back of the car mirror each other, how do u put the right shock on the right side on both the front and back when they are fitted properly into Part AM17? Should they not be opposite on the front and rear of the right side as well as the left?

Also, one of the SPR02 parts doesn't seem to Slide in far enough to 1 of the 4 shocks for me to secure it with a set screw? Anyone else had that issue?

Because of the tight machining you have to sometimes wiggle Spr02 left to right in the slot so it will slide through.

Turn the chassis around as you assemble and it will magically become the proper left and right side when viewed from that end of the chassis

Please see the picture and note for STEP 9 ( p.11 ) of the Instruction manual.

Every DR6 should be installed into AM17R holder (on the first picture of STEP 9).
Every DL6 should be installed into AM17L holder ( the part that is mirror symmetrical to AM17R).

Ok, I guess I thought R6 damper referred to as the "right damper" in the manual should actually go on the right side of the car when installed. In reality however, only one of the two right dampers actually goes on the right side of the car... The other right damper goes on the left side! Got it! Clear as Mud! Why wouldn't they explain that in the manual? Or label the shocks FR for front right or RR for rear right etc?? Oh well, the car looks awesome, the instructions could sure be enhanced with some additional explanation in certain areas!

The suspension is identical front and rear.
Hopefully you'll have more luck when applying setup to the car.

Justin, you'll love the car when you get it on the track. There's a few items you have to pay attention to on the build but it all goes together very well. Once you get the idea of how to adjust the chassis, small changes are easily felt.

thanks... im sure i will. having a little trouble reading the set up sheets properly... i dont really understand how the upper camber link positions translate to the car... to me it doesnt seem like there are as many upper camber positions as are listed on the set up sheet... for example.... like in the rear it shows 5 options, but on the car, there are only 4 spots... again, i might be missing something, but its confusing.

im excited about the car! it really is a piece of art!
