i think everyone who is watching and owns an awesomatix wants to know what setup did Viljami Kutvonen run? as it is what Freddy switched too...

Default ETS

Big Congratulations to Freddy and Viljami for the Podium finishes in MOD and Super stock at the big ETS race in the Czech Republic. Very well done and great sportsmanship by Freddy, especially in race 2. Viljami was looking very fast in the mod race 3 especially... if only a couple more minutes.... Dominic also had a good showing in Super stock.

Oleg, after all the hard work, you should be feeling pretty good right now !

Cheers,

Jake D.

The track looked really challenging..those guys were going flat out through that chicane, in mod..not for the faint hearted. They made it look easy but I think many of the corners were technically difficult. Unreal skill really.

On a different note I was wondering if anyone had a set of original A700 bulkheads and AM19 plates to swap for the latest bulkheads and P22 diff clamping bars from my A700L.

Please note the excellent driving of young Dionys Stadler with Awesomatix car in the third B-Main of ETS.
From the second starting position with only one small ( 0.4 sec) mistake after 5 min race 16-year old Dionys was faster than anybody else in all A-mains.

The question for 13.5T blinky mode drivers:

What throttle settings in transmitter are you using to be faster?

1. Exponentials
2. ARC - Adjustable Rate Control
3. Sub-trim
4. Anything else?

With the KO EX1 & ORCA ESC:

- Most of the throttle related settings are handled in the ESC software with a couple of exceptions
- Radio is calibrated to a max endpoint of 150
- I use some of the dead band setting capabilities to make last minute tweaks to track conditions
- Other standard radio settings are linear with no positive increments on the throttle expo or negative increments of brake expo. The ORCAs have a very linear and controllable curve.

What are you solving for?

Thottle expo : +20%
Th. Hipoint 100% for the setting radio and after that, put 120-125%

i don't know if the question is really related to the ETS speedo .. but the two tricks I have are:

#1 reducing brake travel / throw after setting my ESC at 100% travel. this allows me to tune out how much push brake I have

#2 adding EXPO into brake travel to prevent a light 'tap' of the brake from making the car dive too much on the nose.

like Mark said--- i'd be interesting in hearing what you think your missing.
