Thanks, still deciding to get one or just get the A800. Be mainly for local club racing.

I'm running a a700 evo on a black crc carpet small to medium size
I'm used to running X-ray t4 with 96 spur gears. I received this a700 and had a much smaller spur gear. Should I still put a 96 spur gear in and be at 3.84 fdr ?? Using a tsr 25.5

96 would be too big to get the ratio you need. Use something in the low 80 and you should be able to get the proper fdr from 17.5 to 25.5.

76t to 80t was popular back in the day..

the internal ratio is 2.08 on the shaft drive car..

this wont fit -- that pinion is WAY TO BIG to mesh into a A700
look at the back of a manual. this will show you the gears that are designed to fit.

I find that the front diff is an absolute necessity for VTA to prevent scrubbing off speed at mid-corner and in sweepers. There's not enough horsepower to worry about spinning up the inside front wheel.

I'm currently running 50K oil in front, lube only in rear.

I was running a 49T pinion with a Novak 25.5T in VTA on a medium size outdoor asphalt track, that was a very competitive setup for it in that condition.

Been too long since I touched it, you've got the car now. If I had to guess, maybe an 80T because I have more of those than any other spare gear in my pit box.
