Hello guys,

Here is some info about the car at Euros. Also photos and setup is attached.

My car was very competetive in finals as we found some things for car in hot weather and low grip. For hot weather I recommend to use from 600 to 800 oil in dampers and ~7k oil in diff. If it's cold and low traction, then 500 oil in dampers and 3k-5k diff oil. This is what I recommend as basic.

Also for hotter and lower traction I found that change from 1* toe out in front to 1,5* helped also a lot.

This was first race with RFG, and I have to say it's very big improvement on asphalt. My final result was not as good as it could have been, but I'm very happy with the perfomance.

With RFG you can have a lot more on-power grip which increases overall grip of the car also. Biggest difference is at low traction traction tracks but also helps at higher traction. With this car is more stable to drive so you can be more confident with driving and leave more small driving errors away.

Best regards,
Viljami

I have ran my new to me 700L for the second week in a row and really liking it. Also set my other one up for 17.5 and ran it for the first time this past Friday night for some testing.

I have the opportunity to buy a 700exl is this car worth my time and money. Carpet track larger track. Medium traction. Always had xray cars. But open for a change.

Finally got to race again last night. Pretty low grip track, got down to some pretty good times. But was playing with the top deck, seemed to get more grip with the top deck on than I did with it off? Which seems backwards to me? I would've thought no top deck would be more grip due to more flex? Unless it was flexing too much?

Not sure about more grip, with the top deck the car felt more nimble than grip to me

I'd say it's worth a try, I am using one just for testing coming from a T4 2015, a lot more support for the T4 though so be prepared to do a lot of reading. Also I find with these specialised cars a few people sort of get caught up in their own conversations on these threads so the new to the car person can get forgotten in the mix and goes back to what they know.

First run with mine I was a second a lap slower than my X Ray (in 21.5) but identified switching to a Tekin esc as a more likely cause (although I have changed a few settings since)

What are the biggest difference between the Evo and the EvoII in handling? Raced a A700 Evo last year for 3 races (borrowed car)and I loved how that car handled, and now I have ordered a new EvoII with Alu chassie...
