D2.1 have with bigger output OR155 5x1,5mm o-rings for better seal.
So AT41-1 and AT40-1 parts are a bit different.

But you can use the set of AT41-1 + AT40-1+ OR155 o-ring in D2 dampers.

AT41-1 also can be used in D2 but old AT41 can't be used in D2.1.

We use SS3x3 set screw instead of ST46 in new dampers now. And we don't use inner small o-rings.

I'll be building my first Awesomatix in the next couple day. Is it worth it to do the initial build with titanium screws or just stick with the stock screws?

The quality of the provided screws are very good. I'd suggest using them !

I personally first built my Evo2 recently with the included screws, then upgraded to the titanium after a couple race days. This worked out for a couple reasons:

1) It gave me a chance to get more familiar with the car by fully disassembling it to install the titanium, and at that point I had a good idea where it really needed the loc-tite.

And 2) after installing the titanium I had a vast array of extra screws to cover nearly the whole car, which is nice to have at the track.

I went with the T-Works A700 screw kit and was really impressed with it. Each screw weighed about half as much as the stock steel, and the counter-sunk screws sat more flush in their respective holes which made for a much cleaner build.

Indeed, sold my T4 so the Evo2 will my touring car. I currently have 4 different 1/12 cars from 4 different companies. I really need to settle in and focus on one. I just enjoy building them so much I can't stop myself.

I also enjoy the build, but I have to say that after building and racing Xray for many years the change to the AWESOMATIX has been GREAT!!! I have finished a aluminum chassis car just to compare it to the two carbon fiber chassis that I have been racing in VTA and USGT. I will get to try it out at THE GATE (my local track) next weekend....

I would recommend a set of titanium screws, but only to change most of the top screws... You will also endup with both titanium and steel extra screws, just in case...
