if your looking at my setup -- i measured the ride height while on hudy setup gauges. 6mm on hudy equaled just a bit over 5mm when running on jacos.

OK thanks. That makes more sense now.

BTW I plan on buying a ORCA 21.5 motor and some doodles next weekend. I assume you will have that stuff with you at the Halloween classic? I want to give that motor a shot in USGT.

Many of you will have seen on Facebook that a certain Atsushi Hara has been busy building a variety of electric touring cars over the past few weeks. Talking to him last week about this he said with no contract to a manufacturer this is a good opportunity to see where everything is at. Having built 5-different cars he said next on his list are Schumacher and Awesomatix.

Double check all your alignment, toe, camber, caster. if its not that, check weight distribution, droop, spring preload.

I haven't had this issue ...
Too many possibilities . But I'll throw a needle into the haystack of possibilities. Make sure your rear toe links move freely. Sometimes a long stud on rear of top deck protrudes too far and binds up the rear toe ball cup causing all kinds of mischief.

Does your car appear to have equal droop side to side ? Not that that is the cause, but it is a sign something is binding !

Hi jake, i just realised my gear diff is located on the left instead in the right like in the manual. Is that the case ?

Make sure that the spool is on the "left" and the diff on the "right".

*If* you installed them both on the same side the effect will be that the front and rear gear train will fight against each other ( spin in opposite directions ). So when you place the car on a surface and try to accelerate it will make horrible noises... that is, until something in the weaker side breaks or the motor smokes. In this scenario, my guess is that the spool gears might have come away from the carrier. If not, re set up your esc and radio so it goes forward now because you have the gear diff on the correct side now.
