If you ever have a car that's doing weird things in the middle of the corner, like spinning out unexpectedly, make sure the crossmember the 4 small gears in your diff sit on is completely seated. It's tempting to spin the gears before you assemble it which can push them out of place and make weird things happen. This message was brought to you by two weeks of lost time.

Also, I can't take credit for discovering this, that belongs to someone else.

I plan on going to the Halloween Classic at the Gate and was wondering if anyone else is. It would be cool pitting by some fellow Awesomatix drivers if so. I will try not to ask 2 many questions but I am sure I will have a few because I won't get to run the car very many times prior to this race.
I havent tried the ball diff, but it could be easier to build tighter. I tried a gear diff w/ 2.5M oil but it still didnt feel stiff enough. Most of us actually prefer a solid axle still. Lots of us will be there

Default Servo arms

Servos these day are alot stronger than they where back then, Using a servo saver just doesn't feel the same as using a solid steering arm. I use xrays nt1 servo arms(#336200 part number) it fits the awesomatix just right, and being a plastic piece if you ever get into a big crash on the track the servo horn will go first. I have had the same arm on the servo for awhile now and haven't had an issue yet with hits.. Hope that helps

I hoped the US would also stop using boards and pipes but some are making too much money in spare Parts for that to ever stop....

Hi Oleg,

I have a few questions about parts for the car.
First off i have a new spool that doesn't fit inside am01-1, when place the spool it can't spin freely.
Also have a spr01s without a hole to mount the with.

Also is it posible to make the st13 thicker?

Regards
Lars

Hey Oleg,

I remember you were talking about running no sway bars and compensating by adding suspension stiffness. Did that end up working well, or did the drivers prefer the car with sway bars?

A few months ago I got this info from Oleg--
http://racerlog.com/wiki/Awesomatix_A700#Sway_Bars

Personally, I've tried a bunch of setups, but I really like bars on the A700. The bar mount system makes it easy to work w/ them...
