I'm afraid none of my future projects will be published. I unfortunately don't have the resources to produce more complicated products (Metal and injection molded parts) so everything will remain in a prototype stage.
I would hate it when another company would make money with something I came up with (happened before) so I will keep most of the designs to myself.
It has been a tough decision since I really like showing off the things I've came up with and getting feedback from all over the world.

But back on topic on the most interesting RC car currently available!

Hi all,

I was checking parts on awesomatix website when I noticed some new parts that I've never seen before on it. Can we get some explanation for the following items? (with pictures would be very nice!)

-AM38
-C01-225
-C02L-MOD
-C12
-C18

When do we have to use these parts? For which chassis (L or EXL)?...

Thanks for answering,
Best regards,
G-rem

MY guess is that C01-225 is a chassis that is 2.25 mm. C02l-mod is another chassis. C12 is a top deck and C18 is some type of carbon bit. And AM38 is something made out of aluminum.

maybe not as interesting as what G-rem found -- here are some updates you might have missed at Awesomatix USA

A700L USA SPEC - with AM06S instead of AM06

Tranny Tool - 10mm / 12mm carbon wrench

I'm going to be in SoCal next week and plan to race at cal raceway on the 13th. I know a few Awesomatix guys are in SoCal, anyone want to meet up for a test and tune kind of day? Or have any suggestions for other places to go run at?

I think Tony Tam and I will be at Camarillo Roadrunners on Sunday, July 14. Not sure yet about going to CalRc on July 13. Chances are CalRc will be 17.5 but bring a 13.5 jic.

You other option is TQ Raceway on Carpet.

Sometimes in our webshop there are the trial parts that we should send to our test drivers for the initial testing of our ideas.
We have to sent such trial items to different countries for testing at very different track conditions.
The overall q-ty of such trial parts are not big ( 10-20 pcs of each item).
We can't recommend such trial items to the regular drivers as the specs of such parts are not finalized still. Some items will be recommended for the producing after tests and corrections but some items will be canceled.
Please check that these items have the designation "trial" now.

Can't wait to mount this optional parts and test the effect of each components.

I also included the UB1- tiniest ball bearings I've encountered in my life in this hobby. It is even tinier than what Mini-z and Mini 4WD do have (recalling my first toysway, way back). Every part of this car is unique! Truly a piece of art.

EDIT: Thanks Mike (Awesomatix USA) for the incredible, fast shipping.

Cheers.

Hi guys

Just to let you all know I ran at the Asian on road championship held in australia.
After not being able to get a full practice day under my belt on the friday and with the track being very green I went into qualifying with not the greatest of expectation but to the cars credit I made a few changes through out the day and manged to scrap into the A main in position nine. Over the course of Sunday the car got better and better managing to go 5th 5th and 6th in the three legs I will be sending Oleg a setup sheet for the event for everyone's info the one thing i think really made a diffrence was putting some anti dive on the car I would recommend people to give this a go as it really transformed the car and with a little bit more time would have been pushing for a podium position.
