I got Orion too...
Molecular are such a crap!
I also have Carbon Pro, but I followed Team Orion recommendations (charging at 1C, balancing, keeping them stored, etc.) and now they are swollen and out of order!!!
I do have Carbon Pro saddle, charging them at 15A, heating them a little, no balancing, and they are perfect, even after two seasons!
By the way, the new model does have the same architecture as the previous one, so no inboard toe possible...
Does somebody have thought of something like that?
And we could have different pieces, giving 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 degrees of toe-in...
What do you think?

Slightly off topic but I had an Orion 6500 fail when I connected my speedo backwards. The speedo was off at the time and blew the caps. Once I repaired it I switched it on and got nothing. After a bit of investigation I found zero volts at the battery. Thought this was odd so I cracked it open and found a poor quality PCB inside with skinny tracks which had blown. The tracks at one point were equivalent to nothing more than a few strands of wire. I found this really quite shocking.
IR was 11m ohm on the other untouched pack. After I hardwired the damaged pack with 10AWG IR was 5m ohm. That's right less than half the internal resistance. And it made a massive difference on the track.
A poor quality PCB in a high discharge, top end lipo. I don't agree with this and I must say I'm not inclined to purchase any more products by this brand.

I'm looking at the shocks on the A700 for a project car. From what I can see from pictures the spring rate is basically adjusted with screws, but how reproducible is the result? Can someone describe how the damping is achieved with them, or point me to a post/page that does?
Also, what are the shocks on the A700 worth to buy individually?

Come see me next week at the state titles so you can see first hand how the shocks work.

My guess is very soon, the new parts are being added to the www daily... ETS round 1 is only days away now, so I am sure that will be the launch of the new cars I have received most of the new parts and am VERY impressed with the new bits. I really think Awesomatix is the one of the leaders when it comes to true innovation.

The first kits of the L version arrived at some distributors. So, big comming out will be first ETS race next weekend.
I know that around 25-30 driver will use the Awesomatix car at the ETS race. It's good to see that Awesomatix is growing up :-)

Race report
I posted my thoughts on the last race for our National championship.
Photos and videos in my blog.
I used the optional 'L' chassis and central servo holder on the car. Both worked quite nice.
