Hi everybody, theoretical question:
Has somebody already presented the potential effects of the combination of a powerful motor and the longitudinal position of it on the behaviour of the car?
I think I really need a scientific explanation of this mystic longitudinal rotational momentum on the A700...

Airwave, please watch the ets videos on the redrc site , and you will see how the A700 handles the power of the latest mod motors. I think Freddy could have used a more powerful motor in Poland....

I've seen these videos, but I was asking for some physical explanation about the potential "torque steer effect"...

But i have question of : is the A700 - special damper compensate the torque steering OR the car still have the effect but the driver compenate this on video.......

The effect will also be minimised to some extent by the prop and spur gear which rotate in the opposite direction to the rotor.
You could totally eliminate it by adding a small flywheel to the prop-shaft (like on AEs 200mph car), but I doubt this is necessary.

Its a non issue for A700 owners. You've got the whole internet resource on vehicle dynamics regarding full size vehicles, most use an inline engine, likely there is a really good explanation out there.

Can someone explain how oleg handles the orders he gets ....im not used to not receiving any order confirmations or any emails sayin payment received.....i paided friday and still nothing not even a confirmation of payment received.......everywhere else i order from would have sent me a tracking number by now????????

I would give Oleg & Co. a day or so. Perhaps the weekend + ETS race in Poland added some delay.

Freddy's car was flying ,eventhough he made too many mistakes.. As far as torque steer in symmetrically designed shat cars, I think it's negligable, and would only be noticeable while racing in the rain with a mod car.... All I own is shaft cars, brushed/brushless/nitro, and I only loose the rear when my rear diff is too tight....

Anybody using a 3.5t motor in the A700 yet??? If so, how does it hold up to the power ????

Isn't a 4.0 milder than a 3.5t ??? Nobody running a 3.5t or lower(2.5t) in the A700???

Wouldn't the increased efficiency of the A700 compared to belt cars make people want to try more powerful motors than a 4.0t ? Ie 3.5t , 3.0t , 2.5t....????

I think the A700 can be pushed harder, but after spending nearly $1000 on the kit , people tend to baby the Car around the track rather than push it... I doubt I'll find anybody here with 3.5t + motors in their cars!!!
