The main option I would get would be Marks above list, and the First Aid kit, and the LA1 kit.
I also picked up the IAS (increased Ackerman set) but haven't had a chance to run it yet.

Nothing else needed!

@ Mark

I just pushed the holder as much inside as possible. So distance B is around 5mm. Same for distance A. The shock is inside so distance A=0.

Unfortunatelly weather forecast is rain and very cold, so first taste will be postponed to a later date.

as usual, a few more here:

I was in the track to see the car in action, freezing my nuts off, and now I read this?

YES, YOU ARE IN TROUBLE...

On a serious note though, this is the only car that makes me consider changing my xray T3 2012. Your presentation just made me even more anxious to see the car up close and who knows what will happen then? I may have to hire some muscle to beat you up John and steal the car...

Excellent work Oleg for the car and you John for the presentation.

PS: You should have come, aside from the cold the track was in good condition and the cold weather allowed for some really interesting settings in the ESC

haha.. Ψαράκη εσύ είσαι?
It may have not rained, but still it was way too cold for me. Anything below 10 degrees outdoors is just not enjoyable and my hands are not functional.

Test will come soon, on the 28th I think is a realistic goal.

Thanks for the good comments, and yes, Oleg has created an absolute stunner!

I don't think I'd change my xray for one, the xray is too good for most applications, it is pretty much the perfect club car. However, as an absolute racing machine the a700 I believe just beats it! Do what I did, keep your xray and get a a700 as well!

Εγώ είμαι.
True about the cold. I could hardly drive and even the plastics of the car seem to suffer from brittle fracture at these temperatures. I snapped a plastic front spool outdrive for the first time, too much power I guess
Since you use a stick I could have given you my heated transmitter glove I use for flying if that meant I would get to see the car in action.

@ Mb3195
You are probably right...

Thanks. Good stuff. With the IAS - your set up has really good steering. A lot of body roll - I might have to add sway bars. Had a little chassis drag but an interesting approach.

Good to see that it worked for you What for tires do you use? I use
LRP CPX which have a very small diameter and less bite than maybe sorex. So maybe with tires they have more bite try to use distance A= 1-2mm so the car will not have to much bite in front.

Just testing setups for Snowbirds using the JACO Blues on Prism Wheels. The Jacos tend to push more than the Solaris (M) tires we normally use or even the Sweep tires.

I asked about your track to get a sense of the layout and size. Should be close. If you havent, try a gear diff with putty with your setup. A good balance between the spool and diff.

The track is about 29x12 m.
I use the ball diff complete tight in front so there should be no slipper effect.
