3 big changes-
D2 shocks allow you to adjust pack with oil and impeller changes
S2 (and S) alloy chassis allow for massive flex changes due to the am30/33 chassis braces
Mm2 motor mount allows for rear end chassis flex adjustment

Finally started some real set up changes on my car (A700 EVO with MM2) and noticed that if the centre brace bar thing is tweaked it really throws out the front gear box, loosened it up reset, screw back down, fixed! Also the bottom screws on the outer hubs went for a walk, no wonder I couldn't get a ride height over 5mm! (I need 6-6.5 for our track)

How is everyone measuring droop? I am used to downstep blocks and guage, but can't really see how that'd work here as disconnecting the shocks wouldn't be as easy as say a T4

blue loctite is your friend. i put a TON of it onto-
- MM2
- ST03 balls going into the AM06{ms}
- 2.5mm screws into the FFG
- 3mm screw going into the AT20 holding the G03 on

for droop -- this has been asked a TON of times

Anyone have a good setup guide? I've got the Hudy one, but the car has a lot of adjustments that isn't in there?

There are some good tips here--
http://awesomatix.info/en/tipps-tric...es-awesomatix/

The major point of difference between any Awesomatix car and other 4wd TC are--

Shock
Springs
Reactive caster
Dynamic Rear Toe
Recent chassis with longitudinal chassis stiffeners

A lot has been published but might not be easily found in one place. If you have a topic in question please ask. We will do our beat to answer/provide guidance

Default Questions about C01-AL Chassis for A700L

I currently have an A700L with a carbon chassis and run it in USGT.

The tracks I drive on are low-medium grip carpet.

I have a couple of questions:

1. If I am to change the chassis to the Aluminum Chassis (C01-AL) is the center support for the drive shaft that has 2 bearings necessary to have if converting?

2. If it is necessary, what part number is it?

3. What kind/ type of handling characteristic changes would I see going from carbon to aluminum?

Thanks,
Brian
