It's not 'active' it's 'REactive'... It doesn't change independent of other things, just changes the toe-in in REaction to chassis roll. And I'll agree the A700 was the most recent to take advantage of it..

Associated NTC3 had that quite a long time ago, but pretty sure it wasn't the first either.

i love how the t4'15 thread is bleeding into here. it is bound to happen.

remember folks -- the L or Evo kits include DCJ front drive shafts, a variety of swap bars, and the suspension basically offers nearly every spring/oil combo.

the awesomatix is missing a spur gear and wheel nuts, nor does it include a floating servo mount (but we got a baller servo).

the 2015 car isn't settled yet. euros has set a direction. worlds will re-test the new designs. iic should also provide a peak into the future. once i'm given the OK i'll share as much as i can. until then --> http://www.awesomatixusa.com/2014/09...rly-ready.html

The only thing that I found valuable from the T4'15 was the attached nifty graphic.

The new arms look good. Let us know how they work in FL!

Funny thing for me is in all my own setups I dial the reactive toe to zero..!

Hi,

It's nice to see that the development of the car is going on and there a new parts coming but why not putting more efforts in a lower carbon chassis, alloy is nice but tends to bend easier and is less crash resistant. When you see at the results of some drivers with varius carbon chassis of varius brands like MMP Raceberry and others.
I know that you have to make a choice at one point but there is always a but...
It would be nice if Oleg could explane his thoughts and facts about this choice.

If I do have ARS, what (or is there) is the difference of getting your rear toe-in from the suspension blocks compared to getting it from the steering knuckle arm?

Example:
Setup 1. 3deg rear toe-in from suspension blocks; 0deg toe-in in knuckle arms
Setup 2: 0deg rear toe-in from suspension blocks; 3deg toe-in in knuckle arms

There may be some effect from the arm sweep when using toe blocks. Don't know since the amx doesn't allow you to do both. We'll have to see when the general public get's a hold of the 15 and starts experimenting.

To BKs point, the A700 does have the conventional inboard toe (by suspension blocks). You can find plenty of discussion threads on RCTech - just search for inboard toe vs. outboard toe.

My preference has always been more adjustability with the outboard toe.

Is there a guide anywhere on the AM33-5 and what patterns of screws to use for different stiffness? Trying to setup for a really low grip carpet race this weekend then high grip the weekend after.
