Thanks a lot Oleg!

Would you recommand the use of AM33-5 always with C01AL-S? Or AM30-5 can do the job? Is there really weak point when using AM30-5 with C01AL-S about bending?

I wanted to thank Mike Gee for all of his help and support this weekend at the SouthEast Virginia Championship Race at Debbie's RC world. I was struggling until Mike took a look at my car and gave me some good pointers. Qualified 3rd and finished 2nd. Mike's stock car was very good all weekend but his mod car was on point. Thanks again for all the help.

Thanks for the note Tony and congrats on getting 2nd! Gee looked to be in control of the 17.5TC race after his TQ but sometimes you just don't get lucky. He also looked really good in Mod TC. Hanging there w/ Paulie is no easy task..

Oleg has stopped manufacturing the AM30-5 in favor of the AM33-5. He believe it will be a friendlier option for racers.

I don't think the AM30-5 induces a weakness to the alloy chassis. Alloy chassis in general are less "survivable" than carbon chassis. Carbon chassis take a beating and keep on working....

He was definitely running away with stock. I think a spool failure took him out. Mike was pretty close to Paul in qualifying, but Paul stepped up to another level in the main. Mike's car was good, but you're right it was no easy task.

i don't see anything wrong w/ am30-5. am30-5 + c01al-s has produced the best asphalt mod car i've ever driven. i tried this car briefly on carpet yesterday and it was decent -- had promise, but i didnt want to adjust the car for a carpet surface. i'm keeping it for the worlds...

new parts... the c04al are coming soon. we've asked oleg to make these especially for the hot florida track surface to help everyone at the worlds.

hello , with my brand new evo I got TQ and 1st place at turkey touring series 5th race in stock 13.5 blinky.. car was awesome to drive and very quick. Only problem I had with the car was the rear toe links popping out after small crash. also my friend had similar problem with the upper links. I want to switch to screw type ball cups , could you recommend me direct fit cups with same ball height as ours to keep the same roll center from the setup sheets? sending the link will be nice, many thanks.

There is an upgrade kit from Oleg... but it is pricey

The c04al should not flex/twist when it is very hot like the c04 do.
Just like the alloy chassis, the alloy arms are likely to be more effected by crash damage.

Thanks again for your explanations Mike, I appreciate

Will AM33-5 let the possibility to mount the Awesomatix servo in the center of the chassis or does it need to be mounted on the "non-centered" position?

Congrats on the win.

Oleg has a different ball option - st24 and st24l - that are designed to work with a new ball end p13-4. These balls are 0.7mm lower than the at21 balls.

Did your friend have problem with the p13 ball ends or the p01/p02? It wasn't clear to me, sorry.

Another option is to change to TOP racing balls and ball ends. The balls are about the same height. I've been racing these in my Awesomatix since March 2013 --- but have started to slowly switch to the new p13-4 and st24 or ST24L

Looks to support centered (don't have one yet though..)
In the pic you see there IS NOT a cut out for the original am49 but just a big gap north of there that looks like would fit a servo mount.

We might need Oleg to bless this officially.

Are you running am24 or as-700l?
