Ok Thanks,
but will my change be lighter oil or heavier with a bigger gap on the A setting?

Default IIC Tuning parts?

What tuning parts should I be ordering for IIC? I have a pair of A700 Evos with the soft aluminum chassis, the brace, GD2 diffs w/XRay internals. Anything else I should be bringing? My home track is much lower traction so I won't really have a setup developed in advance.

The first car is running 17.5/17.5 Amateur and the second is Spec GT.

Top decks, you should have them with you at IIC. Grip gets very high at these big events. Usually stiffer chassis are used for a more predictable car, higher corner speed and less chance for grip rolls when grip is high.

If you run symmetric then there is no difference if you swap l/r. This change really allows you to let the car have good mid corner rotation and also be planted on power

Apologies for the question but how exactly do you swap the rear dampers left to right?
Do you remove DR6 from AM17R and place on AM17L and vice versa for DL6?

Leave the am17s alone.
Put the dl6 into the am17r
And the dr6 into the am17l
Run assymetrical mode (that is the only way this would be different)

As Jake said - top deck is a good choice.
Other items would be-- p20, at21s, am19 (rear), shims, b106rs bearing replacements.

My new kit came with some updated ball connectors. They're all the same length and have a hole molded in them. Very nice parts, they look a lot like Xray's.

Does this mean there's ball studs coming with hex heads in them?

Has anybody tried these yet? They seem to pop on/off pretty easily. Any trouble with them popping off on the track?

Syndrome your talking about the st24 and p13-4.

I've run them outdoors... And will try them soon indoors.

Ah, yeah, P13-4 is right. The kit didn't come with ST24 though. The P13-4's feel a little bit loose on the AT21's it came with.

Is ST24 and ST24-L enough to replace all the AT21's in the kit? I'll get some ordered up!

I'd need Oleg to opine.
I had thought st24 were coming now/soon.

A700 EVO question
I have two bottom chassis ,one is the RaceBerry another the L chassis
witch of the chassis would be better for 17.5 stock carpet races?
So far I only see Josh carpet set up online. thanks

Yes.
I swapped my car to all p13-4 and st24 and st24L for all the inner mounts for the camber/caster turnbuckles. they are nice, tight and free. I do have ffg 1.1 as well. I did use a couple of the st24L but I can't remember which mount I used them in,pretty sure it was in the front front, will look at my car tonight
