Soft springs and soft damper settings should make the bumps a lot easier to navigate, but getting it right takes a little bit of testing. Most setups these days are using the soft springs, and it seems that you should have an appropriate range of spring rate adjustment between the Type1 and Type2 SRS/RHS arrangements to cover most (if not all) track conditions.

Yeah but they won't ship to Canada anymore. I've got local supplies but I was wondering about the spec of the screws in the kit and locating an exact match.

I've notice that Awesomatix.com carries the kit screws, I'll order them through there.

Well I'd go after the softest possible setting (like my stock setup). You're not going mac 1 so the suspension doesn't need to be that stiff...

AM06 is silver, AM06s is the anodized color awesomatix uses (gunmetal?). The s blocks are also shorter, easy to see if you have the 2 side by side

Suffered my first spool failure yesterday... drive teeth ring separated from the aluminum body. Was back up and running again in minutes with the help of CA glue and it held the rest of the day, but I have a pretty low degree of confidence in how long it's going to hold. Anyone have luck permanently reattaching these? Maybe JB-Weld? I don't have easy access to an actual welder.

Perhaps this would be a good candidate for enhancement/redesign in the future, seeing as this appears to just be a press-fit attachment. Possibly a grooved spline or simply welded together - since this does not appear to be a serviceable item?

There are a few loctite solutions to reattach the ring. We van try and repair if it is free. Done 5+ successful repairs in 1yr

to be honest a 3mm screw is a 3mm screw. there isn't that much variety in quality. i'd personally recommend you ask around for dealers like mcmaster in candada.

parts arrived today. will be changing set up during the week. will go with hanulecs stock setup. ordered more parts last night. but the AM06S are out of stock. can anybody tell me the difference between the am06 and the am06s? i understand the am06m as its like the am06s but narrower.

The distance between the axle and the lower ball ( st03 ) is shorter than AM06 by 1mm. Am06s effectively lowers the roll center.
