Thanks for the input! Always nice to have comments from a world class level driver. Especially as you have actually used the product

You set the reference point 100% for C01L 3mm carbon chassis and no top deck.
Is it possible to give the ca. %-value for the standard A700L with uncut top-deck and fixed setting with only 2 ST09 upper collars?
Would be very helpful as I would like to move the stadard flex settings from my A700L to my new Evo which I'm currently building.
Thanks in advance!
C01L with the uncut standard C02-1 top deck has ~ 250% of the torsional stiffness.

Hi guys,

I've just received my alu chassis and directly put it on a my setup board (in fact a glass plate)
It seems like it is not 100% flat. Is this normal or is that a manufacturing error? One side is a liiiiittle bit higher than the other. Will this disappear when the car is built?

And do we still really have to glue the P06-1 to the aluminium chassis?

One side ( left or right) or one end ( front or rear)?
What is the height difference?
Usually the preform has some insignificant curvature in transverse direction.

The final shape of our alloy chassis depends on AM30-1 stiffener correct screwing also.

Please use the glue for P06-1 as you will have to cut the protruding part of P06-1 from the bottom side after installation.

Oleg,
The height difference is from left to right.
With the stiffener on (AM30-1) it becomes bigger.
It maybe is about 0.1-0.2mm without the stiffener. As said above, nothing is mounted to the plate yet

0.1-0.2mm is within the acceptable tolerance for flatness that our manufacturer provides for 2mm 7075 T6 alloy plates.

So when will the EVO start to come with the GD2? Would also be nice if you had options for an the Alloy chassis EVO or Carbon chassis EVO. We all know this car is a lot of money vs other cars out there, so this would be a welcome change IMO.

Default Build Problems with GD2?

Guys,

Assembled my GD2 for the first time last night with the Shepherd metal gears. First assembled without oil to make sure the fit is good. Everything was OK until I fully tightened the diff halves, then the diff was locked. Triple checked everything, the diff halves spin nicely with the internal gears when separate, they also spin nicely during attachment of each diff halve (ensuring the gears are aligned), but when performing the final tightening of the halves, the diff is locked.

I'm wondering whether I should omit the spacers behind the two larger internal gears? Has anyone else experienced this when assembling GD2 with Shepherd gear combo.

Appreciate!
