Anyone? I would like to add 0.5mm spacers under all the AT21s as seen in Hoffmeisters setup in the mean time but what method do you use continuously to remove AT21 from the chassis?

Why you want to remove P03?
We never do this.
You can place the shims without P03 removing.
Use 5,5mm flat thin wrench (a lot of Tamiya and HPI kits have it) or the pliers with narrow jaws or even pincette to hold AT21 at unscrewing.

Realize AM26 is for rear. In the setups you mentioned to see how the AM26 was used, they all had a front link setup that I do not think is possible with the EVO. Thus, would only be able to copy the rear set up which would not reproduce the handling they got. The EVO only has 4 hole choices in the front while the L&LX can have up to 6.

How do you get the same handling for a AM26 setup that is also using a hole setting in the front that the EVO doesn't allow? (e.g. holes 5-6 that are closer to the hub)? For example, the carpet 19-20-01-13 setup using AM26 in rear is using the 6 hole on the front top and 5 hole on front bottom (ie holes closest to hub). Are the 4 holes on the EVO spaced to cover the same distance as the 6 (or 5 on bottom front) of the non-EVO front top link holes? Unlike the L&EX, I was told that AM-19 and AM18-1 cannot be used on the front of the EVO to "add" holes. It looks like AM18-1 was used in the 19-20-01-13 setup.

FFG outer holes pattern is very similar to AM18-1 (only 0,5mm more out for each hole).
So you don't need AM18-1 with FFG as FFG incorporates AM18-1 outer holes already.
But you should take into account the top surface level difference and to install more shims with FFG.

Along with what Oleg said-

You do not ever need to remove the P03 from AT21. When removing the screws from below the crush created from it fastened allows the screw to easily come out. If by chance the AT21 spins inside the P03 just hold it with your finger with a little pressure while you remove the screw.

For assembly after you have the desired shim under the AT21 apply pressure with your finger again to the top of the P03/AT21 assembly and thread the screw in.

Its pretty easy and basic.

Ok, starting to understand. Does this mean to "match" the location of front FFG holes with non-FFG + AM18-1, I should consider the holes closet to the hub approx. the same and count inwards? E.g., an AM18-1 hole # 6 = FFG # 4 (both being the closest to the hub). If this is so, then the FFG is lacking the holes most inwards? E.g. non-FFG hole #1 = FFG hole #? Only got 4 holes to cover the distance of 6 on the non-FFG.

Also, don't have an AM18-1 so could you tell me it's thickness so I would can take into account the top surface level difference and to install more shims with FFG. Thank you.

FFG doesn't have only the most inner hole that exists on AM18-1.
Please see the picture. AM54 is the part of FFG.

FFG level is 1,5mm lower than top deck level of the regular A700 and 3,5mm lower than level of AM18-1.

Default ASYM Damper used on carpet

Noticed that M. Dawson & Oleg's 2/10/13 setup for carpet used asym damper action. Haven't seen many carpet setups like that. Why use it that time?

Hi Adam. Been there, tried that. It won't. It will interfere with the upper arm mounts preventing it from lateral and rotational movements. HTH.

Hey guys, what is the part number and name of that plastic shroud that covers and secures the ST17 Universal Ring on the front axles? Can't find it in the manual.

Need more...
