Would the EVO be good for 17.5 or is it a mod only car?

with less traction -- i think the Evo/FFG could help any motor class. i think it will be really good outdoors in 17.5

at the Halloween Classic this year I did notice a handling difference between my Evo prototype car in 13.5 and my A700L in 17.5. The Evo just laid the power down better in a tight left hand corner (2nd turn on layout)

Do any of you guys know where I can get my hands on some DT02s? I cracked the retaining lip off one of mine and AwesomatixUSA is out of stock. I'd prefer to get them from someone I'm the USA because I need them for next weekend

Did you run it with a Mod motor or stock? Were you faster with it or more consistent?

Ran 17.5. I had a slight tweak to the layout this weekend but I was faster than last by .2 on fast lap. The car was more consistent, and easier to drive and very smooth. I had a few other fellow racers drive my car and they felt it was smoother and more consistent too.

Ran my evo kit at a club race last weekend, after a few growing pains, make sure to use lock tight on the screws that hold the ffg front gear box to the alum plate. The car was silky smooth in mod.. The car is so stable and easy to drive while still being nimble. Hats off to Oleg this design is truly awesome. ( pun intended)

My track is high bite carpet and I did not use a top deck. With out the top deck this set up does have more flex than my normal 700L.

These screws?

It's good to hear the car is smooth and working well in 17.5. I was under the impression the FFG was intended more for mod than the slower classes. If it smooths out the corner exit that would be really great. I paired mine with the GD2. The build is progressing nicely. I'll get it on the track probably this weekend.
