Please check: ~ 0,4 mm clearance should be between AT04 shaft and ST09 nut at proper installation and not damaged (bent) AM10-1 steering plate.

Default AOC race

Just got back from the AOC final at Yatabe, What a great event! The car was great all weekend, qualified and finished 8th in the 17.5 A-main. Used Larry's Horsham set-up, the only change I made was to use 1.2 sway bars. Finals went okay, knew I could have finished higher, but got hit on the first lap in 1 & 2 and could work my way back to 8th. 3rd race had a great start, but made to many mistakes and finished 7th.

That is going on my car for champs. Since I bought the car I have been using Larry's classic set up. BUT the champs requires sweep tires ran. Larry's set up seemed a little to aggressive for sweeps, even in the set up it states he used solaris. So my plan is a complete tear down and rebuild this week, then back to Cleveland.

Also thanks for your input Oleg I caught the problem. The nut had loosened up. I think it's great that you are active here on RCTECH, thanks sir.

PRO TIP for anyone going to the indoor champs. If your car ever feels tippy glue the front sidewalls a little, don't overdo it though or your car will push. I used a little glue at the classic, it all depends on the grip level.

If you cannot wait.. You can upgrade to the FFG later.
Awesomatix gives you great options like that...

Will this FFG kit be of any benefit in stock? I will probably buy another car for mod soon, but I can see how this could help in mod a lot.

My new A700L kit comes home today! I can't wait to build it over the holiday weekend. It's going to be my first non-Tamiya kit in almost 10 years. Hopefully the performance is as good as everyone on this forum says it will be. I just could not get excited about the new crop of clones that everyone is producing, and this car is definitely not a clone.
