If you have crashed check the springs to see if one is bent

If they are not straight then bend them straight or replace. Set droop exactly

Carefully turn ride height screw until the slack just disappears

Then you know there is zero preload. This will get the car approximately correct

Set ride height by turning equal amounts both sides

Use a tweak station or whatever to get the preloads correct.

I use two fine pins to get left right balance perfect, then 4 scales (which I set up carefully first)

What about the price got you.. let's see.. an L car is I believe $700.. so let's do some math.. Xray is a popular car so i'll use that as the base.

Kit: 500
ECS: 100
Shock oil: 50
springs: 80
Total: $730

Once you add this stuff up you will see that a lot of people end up spending just as much or even more. ECS drive shaft are not needed but a lot of people end up buying them because they run 17.5 or 13.5. hope my break down takes away some of that sticker shock.

Any of you guys have any issues with the gear diff gears stripping out? Ran my new car today and after about 10 packs the car started spinning out in the corners. Checked the rear gear diff and it seemed that the gears were notched causing the diff action to not be smooth. Big props to my main man Karl H for hooking me up with some of his extras. Other than that issue the car was money.....only about 3 tenths off of our local fast guys For me that's not to bad

Have you done this mod? If not, that'll help.

Teacher - im happy to hear the car is rolling well. w/ the plastic gears you need to watch the shimming. w/ the optional metal gears you can pretty much roll w/o any additional shimming.

I'm looking at the A700EX, that's $896!!! $400 over what's currently available. Springs, oils ect. wont be needed since I've got almost all that's needed.

Still though it's one hell of a good looking car!!!

The car is worth every penny. No more lugging around 10 bottles of shock oils leaking all over the place, no more lost/missplaced springs. No more snapped chubs or knuckles. More positives to this car than negatives.

Oh I don't doubt that at all. The quality and finish looks amazing, just gotta figure out a way to hide the purchase from my boss (wife). 500-600 not a problem, close to 1k her eyes they're WIDE open!!!

It'll be all worth it, sir. I am about to wrap up my build. Really an amazing car. The details are superb. Quality is NEXT to NONE. The best TC car in the market right now.

*I used to hide all the expenses too from my wife, hehe.

As for the gear differential, I purchased the optional G05ST and G06ST and they settled well without shimming, smooth as silk. Now, I want to try if the combination of plastic and steel will be at par or better. I'll post the update.

Cheers and good day to all.
