Frederik- this is all part of the hobby --- finding out what works w/ your track condition and tires. i'd recommend you select an existing setup to begin with either because of motor class or tires used w/in the setups. you can find setups at--

The camber link size varies on the mounting point. The kits links work well for all of the "on bulkhead"/am01 mountings. shorter links are required if your using the optional plates -am18 or am19. Pettit has a page talking about how to read the setup sheets by knowing ehich hole is which for the upper links.

+1 It would be really interesting to have an update re: possible future plans for new improved awesomatix kits.
I'm really pleased with my a700exl but would really like to expand the fleet.

Congratulations to Freddy and Viljami for the succes at EC 2013!

Our trial "floating front gearbox" set was good.
After some refinements we will definitely use it in our new kits that we are preparing for 2014 season.
The other good thing is that this set works well on our standard L chassis.
Viljami has used L-chassis right from the EC practice beginning and Freddy has switched to L-chassis also for A-mains after his trial 2.1mm chassis was broken.
After this Freddy's switch the car has becomes even better.

Unfortunatelly we didn't have enough time for the testing of all possible configurations available with "floating front gearbox" set.
But this initial result is very promising.

I am happy that Awesomatix drivers will have the possibility to get even the more faster and innovative cars soon.

Dear Oleg,

Greetings from Portugal! It was a real pleasure to have met you and share some words about the creation of your masterpiece. We were all overwhelmed by the beauty of the awesomatix and the new free floating front gearbox! A true work of a genious. We are very fortunate to have you as a creator of r/c model cars and I thank you for that.
Regards,

Fernando Cordeiro

Hey guys...
Just recently took my A700 off the shelf. Looking for a carpet VTA and/or 17.5 setup to start with.

Any suggestions?

Oleg,

could we have some pics or drawings of the new parts? Can't wait to see the 2014 version of the car
Do you plan to make a conversion kit for all current owners of A700L/EXL?

Best regards

Hi broløs,
Do you have any problems with the chassis bumper area strength now? Please let me know.
Our first A700 chassis have had the additional holes under the front gearbox but we have removed them later for increasing of the strength.

L and EX chassis have 2.5mm thikness under bumper already.
We don't have now any reports from the customers concerning the breaking of the chassis near the damper.
BD7 and 417 cars also don't have the additional supports for bumper.
Do you think that we have to add such supports for new car?
