What new top deck? What's different about it?

Does everybody run the shaft support, even in the 17.5/13.5 classes?

Yes. you should use them ..the shaft support keep the drive shaft perfect straight under the acceleration and you want to bent them

just some new parts under test. very similar to the t-shape top deck, just a bit more narrow.
my attempts to test yesterday got wrecked by rain, and then later humidity turning a soda prepped track into a skating rink.

I would recommend you run it also.

some folks have replaced the screw on the hub w/ a long set screw to help provide that straight line to measure caster w/in a setup station. awesomatix usa is working on some 'caster doodles' (inspired by Mike Gee's initial design) to help w/ fine grained caster measurement. no eta yet -- as the design isn't finalized. looking to make the manufacturing idiot proof and yet cost effective.

the am06s lower the hub by 1mm.

in what way was your car loose? just lacking overall grip? or loose on power?

if lacking overall grip i'd recommend two things 1) cutting your top deck. either removing the front + rear sections, or making a t-shape design. 2) trying the type 2 shock config

if your loose on power i'd recommend reducing the amount of shim you have on the rear toe link between the outside ball and the rear toe arm. i've used this change to tighten up/make my mod car rotate less. i should probably make this change to my stock car too, and then i can add some dual rate back into the car.

BlackedOutREVO was in SoCal this weekend and I had the opportunity to race with him at Cal Raceway.

This was my first time seeing an Awesomatix in person and I must say, the simplicity of the car is impressive. There are so many small things that have been addressed to make setup changes, faster, simpler and more effective.

After watching the Awesomatix through practice and in one of the rounds during racing, all I can say is the car is an absolute beast! The way that the car cornered flat but maintained grip and carried an insane amount of corner speed was like nothing I have driven. When you entered a high speed corner with the Awesomatix, instead of waiting for the car to roll and turn, the car would turn in impressively and maintain a solid line.

After driving and seeing Brandon's Awesomatix car in person, I am definitely a believer and can say that this is the only other car I would purchase right now.

Awesome job guys!

I'd try..
Less rear droop
More front spring (smaller B value)
More front dampening (higher A value)

Is this in high speed or low/medium speed sections?
