Does anyone have the height of AM26?

Looking for the measurement in mm for the left graphic.

I tested Viljamis setup from ETS and Kuusankoski in this weekend. I didn't have 3 dampers, only 6, I had 10.5 CS and Sweep 28's

The car felt fast and turned really well but In fast corners the rear was little loose for my driving style. I'd spin if I didn't get back to throtlle immediatly after cornering... Actually I have had the same problem every setup with AM26. No drag brake.

Do You have similar problems, or is it only my drivingstyle and /-skill problem...?

try moving the battery on F1 or F2..i think it will help stabilizin' a bit the rear of the car..of course you'll maybe loose a little bit of steerin'...

I found this to be a trait of the car in general. But there are quite a few things you can do to dial it out I agree very much with method699 about battery position. Spent months experimenting with it, and found out its fundamental to the whole character of the car. Other brands pretty much prevent the user from finding this out by fixing the placement.

I've reached the point where I use 4 scales and measure F-R weight distribution, and run 8-10g more in the rear than the front (without bodyshell). Completely OCD but anywhere outside this margin and I start to run into problems with the car snapping at the rear in fast corners or with pushing in tight corners.

I run position F1 with C01L or R1 with C01(EX) and careful use of ballast.

Also maybe a couple of things to try, take a look at perhaps running the rear RC about 1mm higher than the front (use rcrollcentrev162) and play with the flex.

When I looked at and tried team setups I was left thinking 'These guys are Aliens' - it just gives you an insight into their driving ability to hang onto a car with so much steering

Hey Markova

How much rear tow are you running? I usually run 3.5 of rear tow in on my car and sometimes even more and I find it locks the rear end down and also settles the car down. That also depends on your track and how much grip there is on the track. I would try giving rear tow in a try first and I think it will settle down the car for you. Hope it works out for you...

Thanks for advice

-3 deg, I'll try more
-I'll try to check weight balance too. How/where do you messure it, F-R? From tires, or where?
-F1 L and R1 EX? Do You have otherwise same car and are L and EX so different?

The more I study the new car, the more I understand you worked a lot on the roll centers...

That was the main problem I have to face when I race my A700... This car was so "well-centered" that it was very hard to make it roll...

I can see that the new parts will allow the car to be easier on low-grips tracks...

I'm just disappointed that I bought the first version...

Patience is a virtue...

Maybe Hana has other reasons for appearance of different weight distribution for either chassis, but its probably only due to the differing BATTERY mounting positions between the EX and L chassis and the reality is that he uses nearly the same battery position on both the EX and L chassis. A picture is worth a thousand words.... ( EX is on the right , and note: the angle of the picture distorts the offset somewhat )
