I just stumbled upon the pic at this site:

http://racercv2.dk/?page_id=5041

I havenīt alter it any way.

I think suspension geometry have a greater impact on performance than transmission.

We have two A700 cars with new dampers ( DL/R6, AM17L/R) and AM08-1.

Is the site down? I'm trying to order parts and the site won't open. I need ST16 (a few) and ST11. Maybe someone out there has some of these parts they could sell.

WOW. Congrats to Oleg and Awesomatix on securing half of the A main at the first ETS race. 5 of the new cars in the A main of Pro Stock!

It appears the changes have made a big difference!

Hi all,

I've been racing my first race with the A700L at the ETS. Finished building it on Thursday night, first run in the first practice.

I started with the kit setup and every change I made just showed what I expected. (Thanks to Freddy for all the helpfull discussions). In the End I finished on 16 in Prostock, propably one of my best results in the past few years. The car just worked great. Congratlations to the five guys that made the A-Main.

I changed:

- raised the lower wishbone mount to 1.0mm, the rear front to 1.5mm for some anti-dive. The car didn't roll that much (we had really a lot of grip) and was quicker in changing directions
- changed from active to reactive caster what increased the front grip in tight corners
- adjusted the soft springs to a hard setting. The dampers were on kit setting
- reduced front droop to a minimum.

With this changes the car was easy to drive an really fast.

very impressive ETS run for awesomatix. i think this speaks to either 1) a really good car or 2) an even better team/teamwork between the racers. i think if the tc world wasn't watching before ... they are now.

which car versions made the pro stock a-main?

We are all happy about the Team result. 5x A700L in A-Main Stock and myself with the A700EX in Mod A-Main.
I have to say that most of the A-Main Stock drivers just get the cars 3-4 days before! the event. They just put in my basic Ride tire setup and changed it to her likes. Just awesome to see how they performed and Dominic was so close to a win ... :-)

Next ETS round 2 in Hrotovice will be better, we learned a lot and will be even stronger

Regards,
Freddy

Please drivers who attended ETS, post the set up used.

I have found the setup sheet with calculation for wheel rates, or stiffness, extremely useful
