For the most part the setup changes you'd make on the A700 is not that much different than on a traditional TC. What worked for my Tamiya TCs are working on the A700. Changes to droop, ride height, camber, roll center, sway bars, dampening, dive, squat, etc are all producing results that are expected. The one area that's a little different is the rear toe. The outboard toe-in doesn't seem to generate as much mechanical grip as inboard toe-in. As such, I'm running a little more rear toe-in than usual. For 17.5 stock TC I typically ran 1.0 or 1.5 degrees of inboard toe-in. With the A700 I'm running between 2.0 to 2.5. The outboard toe-in setup should result in more corner speed if all things are equal. I'll need to keep working on my setup till I get there.

Hi Oleg,

Would you be able to provide any info on the optional lower deck (C01L)? Release/restock date would be great appreciated as well.

Thanks for the update! Will the revised/improved ball joints be one of the 'other new items'?

Good to hear!! I have a stock pile of the current style joints. Hopefully, the revised pieces will be released before I burn through them.

One drop of thin CA glue between P01 and P02 after caster /camber adjustment will help you a lot now.
Further adjustments of suspension are possible after that without problems.

My C01L is only about 90mm wide. With everything so inboard the car changes direction really quickly
