Well I'm no expert but it was the first thing I asked Oleg when I got the car, there is no sweep, and probably quite tricky to incorporate into the current design.
Agree with you Mark about rear toe, I think outboard is one of the main reasons for the A700's handling characteristics.

I looked at the chassis last night - there are inner & outer holes on the chassis for the arm pivot mounts. I haven't tried it but you seemingly can run front/front on the outer holes and front/rear on the inner holes to create arm sweep. But again, not sure of the total effect due to the way the hubs are mounted.

I thought those holes were a legacy from a previous prototype with shorter wishbones, surely the distance between those holes would create too big an angle of arm sweep?

Agreed, based on my calculations, the distance is quite a bit too far. I was never very good at trig, but the Interwebs have told me it should be around 3/4mm for 1 degree of sweep and 1.5mm for 2 degrees. Here's how I calculated it:
Code:
r = 44mm (distance between arm mount locations)
length of circular arc = degrees * (PI/180) * r

1 degree
--------
1 * (3.141/180) * 44 = .7679mm

2 degrees
---------
2 * (3.141/180) * 44 = 1.535mm
Of course, these could be totally wrong, so maybe someone with more skills can double check. ;-)

We'll check the effect of the inner sweep of the lower arm, though, I believe it will be much less noticeable than for conventional suspension due to lack of outer hinge pins in our suspension.

You have very easy possibility to check the influence of the upper arms sweep on A700. It does not require any additional parts and part's reworking.

I think I checked this before, but the lower arm interfers with the damper if you try to run sweep, and you basically can't get the arm into the mounting hole... It'd be a lot of sweep too!!
Now upper arm sweep sounds like something interesting to try *adds to test list*

A little late but all done. A little sloppy with the electronics install; kind of just wanted to get it finished

I had to bring back the Ol Skool Parma Mohawk...I wanna try it next carpet season.
