i know from the setup it was the CPX.
his someone tried it and what did you change to get it work for u..

thanks
As I remember Ride's diameter is 1.5-2mm bigger than on CPX.

I case if it true, your roll centers are too low at Freddy's setup ( shims ) and your car rolls too much at Freddy's springs.

To compensate it and to get Freddy's roll centers height you must add to Freddy's shimming 0.75-1mm shims under all inner lower balls and remove the same under all outer upper balls.

Thanks Oleg,

if i understand i need less roll for the tires with higher sidewalls so a higher roll center.
by going around 1.5mm under inner lower balls, remove some 1mm on outer upper balls, maybe remove some shims on inner upper balls..

maybe do i have to try antiroll bars around 1.3 on front and 1mm on rear.
should i have to try less droop? 6 front and 5 rear?

try around 90kgf/cm² for dampening on rear and little less on front..
little harder on springs..

if you have any suggestions i'll take it..

thanks to all, need some help cause those tires are a pain to drive on..

Hi all,

Just wanted to add in the final setup I used at TITC last week. There were three Awesomatix's in the pits, generated plenty of interest. As mentioned before, car was really good (my driving less so), and both Tom and myself made the D in mod, he finished 2nd, myself 5th. Pretty happy with that given the short amount of time with the car, and struggling a little earlier in the week on settings.
In the end ended up with a car that was pretty nicely balanced with no hint of traction roll... I think for sure will be using this setting as my base for now.

Did need a bit more steering, but can find that by softer front spring. Got some other things to try as well, but taking a weekend off I think

Regards
Ed

Setup from John Doucakis for low traction, bumpy, high speed track was published there also.

Was there any issues with parts going back together with the anodizing ?
And did you have any problems with bearing going back in ?
Looks sweet I was going to do mine in orange or black but wasn't sure if it would work.....

Looks great, good that you chose an unusual colour.

Been tempted to de-anodise the coloured parts and polish them to have it all silver, I'll get around to it eventally

Thanks Franko, two bad stock went the way it did ( did you see the video?) .. But in SS it was the perfect weekend. That trophy race was the 1st run for the A700 and I could not have been happier.. Coming from my old car (T3 12's) I was amazed I picked up time with the A700 1st time out... The car makes so much more natural rear grip that I really have to get use to having a planted car.. lots to learn but it's but is only going to get faster
