D2 Debut
I ran my new D2 for the first time yesterday and I have say it was really awesome. I've been having great results and a lot of fun racing the Warpspeed Mission (SHLOSI), but I have to say...as good as the SHLOSI was yesterday, the D2 felt faster. It turned on a dime and had good yank out of the corners even with a diff. Unfortunately, I only got to run it during a brief practice session so I didn't get lap times, but it cornered better, accelerated quicker, and transitioned faster than my SHLOSI and I ran the SHLOSI in the Main and went from 8th on the A-Main starting grid of Pro stock to fourth in two laps and was catching the lead group quickly when the guy next to me leaned forward and blocked my view just long enough to cause to me wreck (Broken chassis
). Anyway, can't wait til the next race so I can really see what the D2 can do.
