Agreed. Where do you live in San Diego? I have tenitive plans to visit my sister that lives in La Jolla in February. I need to meet all you SoCal guys on that trip and spend some time with Dan and Jimmy @ Fukuyama Racing.

That is what I ws originally commenting on but it goes well with the oter too.

Your mods are nice, I might have to do some to set my charger apart from the rest too.

Money for these mods were not too expensive.

Fan - 10
Faceplate - 22
Window - Free
Cathode tube/switch - 15
Deans plug - already had ... forgot to mention that one, I put a deans plug between the red and black wire soldered to the power supply wire so I can take off the top case and still disconnect the tube power wires to the inverter.

47 bucks total.

I dont believe toaster ovens are ROAR approved. But my toaster oven is in my kitchen.

Actually planning on doing a clear top on my power supply. And maybe adding some lighting but since it is pretty cramped I will have to see. I'll keep ya posted.

Looks great! Very clean installation on that power switch too.

Funny you should mention it Jay. I was just thinking that now John should start dressing up that Rivergate . . .


BTW - Racing at TFB has been going well. Off-Road is starting to slow down so I am going to try some 1/12 scale action soon.

I'm in Rancho San Diego, about 30 mins from La Jolla, be sure to let me know when you plan on coming out, we'll take a trip to SoCal and race with Dan (havent seen Jimmy there yet, maybe he'll come out though)
