I'd go through the steps in the Hudy book. Several are inter-related, so do them in the order presented in the book.

Any usefull upgrades ? I've read about the roll center mounts front and rear .
Spare parts: front arms, rear arms, steering knuckles, c-hubs, rear hubs, hub bearings, camber link inner and outer ends. Motor sensor wire. Plastic driveshaft blades. Spare screws in various sizes (most used are 3x6mm, 3x8, 3x10, 3x12, 3x14, 3x16 - all button heads). Various thickness lower suspension shims. Front and rear hinge pins. Front and rear belt.

Upgrades: Aluminum steering knuckles, C-hubs, rear hubs. Aluminum spool outdrives and ECS driveshafts (assuming rubber tire). Optional shock springs and rollbars. Parma hard foam bumper. If you get the hard foam bumper, that cuts down on a lot of breakage. The aluminum hubs and knuckles reduces the parts breakage to front and rear arms.

Spare belts, pulleys & Drive Shaft Plastic Cap are the most used, for me...
I'd recommend you replace all at the same time on the car if you replace any of these.

Just got my multi diff today. Am I suppossed to be using the drive shaft blades with it?? I ask because when I put the blades on they bind in the cup as soon as I attach the camber link. Without them on there is a tremendous amount of play and I would be worried about chewing up the cups. Any answers??

Thanks in advance

Davin

shaggy11: i wouldnt use wd40 on the belts.. it will cause the belts to strech if you are using a low turn motor or even 13.5 these days.

Davin: yes you have to use bone blades with the multidiff if you dont it will chew the out drives up

with the multi-diff, you need to use the plastic blades.

they shouldn't be tight at all. loosen them off so they have some movement. mine are 6 months old and they look like new still, and that is with a 10.5
