hi guys

just want to ask if the multi-diff from the EU 007 would fit the EU 009?

Thanks in advance.

Sure, I had modified multi-diff from 007 in 008 in times when one-way wasn't available for 008. And spool for 008 (smaller) is the same for 009. I've got all 3 cars at home at the moment

If the multidiff from the 007 fits in a 009, then a spool from 009 will fit in a 007? i am looking for a lightweight spool for my 007, no reason for me to have multidiff in the car, when i only use spool...

it does fit, but the pulley will not quite match up. the 008/9 series cars are slightly more offset to the outside to compensate for the spur being inbetween the center pulleys. seems like it would wear the belt prematurely, but its not off by much.

thanks for the insight, Turbonium

Would it be then possible just to replace the main axle of the T2 007 to an 08 (part # 30 5116)? As this might be the part that would correct the alignment of the pulley. I ask this as a means of saving cost in purchasing a whole new multi-diff when one could just replace one part of the assembly.

If using a 007 multi-diff on a 008, all you have to do is add spacers between the gear and multi-diff. I think it was 1.5mm.

Unhappy Hitec Servo Arm??

A little off topic, does anyone know if Xray makes a servo arm for a Hitec servo? I have searched all over and can only find two: one for Futaba/Robe #302583 and the other for JR/KO/Airtronics #302581. What is a guy to use for a Hitec Servo....help.

Thanks,

I am pretty sure you can find one, the stock servo arms that come with the cars are 23 24 25 splines I think. airtronics and ko are 23 I think, I would think that yours would be 302582. and it has an H on it lol.I can check to see if I have some.. I deffinatly have NT1 arms which might work with different offsets (spacers)

Service pack spool from 008 (it's same with 009 standart spool) worked great in my dad's 007 without noticable increased belt wear (past tense because he's got my 008 now).
