Yodache: although i am not completely sure yet what the differences are going to be in the kit completely, but i do know know that the 009 will have a new chassis/top deck which will allow the bulk heads to have different positioning for high grip or low grip. I also assume that the car will have light weight drive shafts and possibly some other camber link positions. overall the suspension corners will be the same or atleast very similar, the car will also be different in color.
im waiting to get the production kit my self but these are the differences that i know of as of now, im sure that their are more small changes that i dont even know about yet.
Thanks Paul

Hi Paul, yes about the chassi thats true, it has 2 diferent position for the rear blocks, so the motor can go foward or stay in tha same position as 008, wich position is for high grip?

But if we put the blocks foward it will requier other top deck, but is not avaible now, do you know when will be?

Give or take....sweet FA.

They are basically a 008 with a few option parts, i.e. lightweight driveshafts etc.

The chassis has also moved the battery pack by a few mm.......for huge performance increase?...NO, so that batteries clear the bloody pinions and spurs properly
There is also the ability to move the motor position, which cannot yet be done as the parts required aren't available.

They're top driver/rep in the UK has already said, if you own a 008 there is no point in getting a 009.
For once some honesty from a distributor.

from what i understand, most use the composite spool, it has less chatter and is smoother... plus less weight.
