are you talking real race classes....????

If so what do they have to do with the r/c , if a body is illegal or not???

The Roar rules state something to the effect that the body must be used in "real" touring racing to be legal... thus.. only 4 door sedans that are used in accual races are legal.

That sounds unfair........

Don't that kind of rule hurt the sport????
when there are so many great bodies out there

Truthfully, in "major races" that is a good rule. It keeps everyone using a 4 door sedan. Nobody can come in with low profile high downforce bodies, and i think sedans look cool on the track. I wouldnt like to see a ton of lola bodies running around personally.

I think if ROAR dumped that rule, we might see bodies other than the stratus! ROAR seems to make alot of pointless rules though

is there really a stratus in any REAL touring car series??? BTCC? JTCC? DTM? ATCC? i doubt it. if we are to make r/c touring car realistic, might as well stick to TRUE touring car bodies: vectra, mondeo, vovlo s40, accord, nissan primera.

i use a protofrom vectra and HPI mondeo

you guys should try the new 190mm TC body put out by protoform. its the Volvo S60. If you liked the stratus' handling, you'll like this one too. very stable, planted and neutral. just an option for you guys. i myself am a stratus fan. been using the protoform strat for the past two years now. have tried the accord, mondeo but still like the stratus best - very neutral and easy to set-up your car around it. i find the vectra is good too giving more steering response compared to the stratus so its good for different tracks layouts. i here the HPI mondeo is behaves much like the protoform vectra.

hey what is the stratus fear body? is it new or something i've never seen one. i used to think the stratus looked kind of funny but after i bought one, and painted it looks better and better everytime i paint one. i guess it's the whole idea that it's an american car and not an import that cause people to think its ugly. that's why my friends refused to use the body and only stick with japanese cars. my lhs has been selling them for 10 dollars a pieces lately. another good reason to get one. well here is a pic of my latest stratus.

Um... then, give a try to the new Protoform Volvo S60. Looks cool and handles very good.
