The general consensus was that the 1/10 pan classes became insane battery and tire wars with 6 cells, and the entry cost and skill became too high for people to come in and grow the class, so it started to die off. Oval was kind of the same thing but 4 cell has gone a long way towards reviving it, I think.

Josh way to go getting to the Birds. Dont let little insecure men get in your way. Just drive right on past them and flip em the bird on your way to success. Were with ya all the way, the racers are gonna stick with other racers you can bet on that. Good luck in Ft Myers with the nitro ride.

Our local track is starting up that same class. 4 cells, stock motors. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe there's a resurgence of pan cars coming. We can hope.

Default 4cell 1/10 pan cars

I hope they do make a comeback. For new racers they are alot less to undertsand on set-ups, and much cheaper to drive when it comes to parts. The fun factor is high, and more time is spent driving than fixing all those broken parts on the touring cars.

are some fast guys at my track and more racers are looking for cars. Just wanted to know what you think about this class, and
if you ever raced 1/10 pan.
The last time it was a class at the ROAR Nats was at the Minrig (sp?) in Fl and it was deemed to fast as this was when the 9 and 8 turn motors first started to appear. I remember hearing all the talk from the drivers that were there was that it was just to fast for the smaller carpet tracks.

I think alot of the big outdoor tracks in cali still run 6-cell stock pro-10 but that si about it.

Just thought I would share the info.

Anyhow, good luck.

Default X-ray

Hey Josh

A few questions for ya.. how is the cefx12 coming along??
Did you find any new info out at the snowbirds that will help with the production cars?

Also I was looking at the set-ups from the xray team from the snowbirds and looking at the tires they had double purples on the rear of the car?? Is this what you ran on your car too as I thought we are going softer on the tires (orange/pink and double pink) in modified or are they just weird over there??LOL!!

Thanks for any info
