Good luck in the future, i have heard a rumor that another big trinity star is on the verge of leaving them as well but i am not sure how true that is. Rick
Originally posted by Josh Cyrul ...I had 2 threads up on Trinity's site but I saw that one has already been deleted. I'm going to wait a few days and if people are interested I'll start another "ask Josh" thread here so I can still continue to help racers out with any quesitons they might have....
Sooner is better than later!
I mean there has to be guys coming up with questions already!
I personally would like to say I am proud to learn the reason of you jumping ship. I don't particularly like Trinity, and your move only increases my respect for you (especially since I liked you even before when you were with them). Being from Hawaii, I've had no chance to see you race, but some fellow racers went to the Gas Nats and were thoroughly impressed by your abilities (much like they were of many others).
And like popsracer said... take the questions as you can handle, we here have shown to love flooding the new R/C celebrety with a ridiculous amount of questions within the span of one day and one week.
Great decision.
You might not remember me, we met in 2001 at MELZO in Italy for a 1/8 scale EFRA GP prior to the 2001 worlds in Australia. If this reminds you anything I was the only guy talking to you about electric cars in the middle of a gas event!!
I got to know you and David Spashett better and you both are great guys. I hope you are still good friends and that you will manage to take David with you, away from Trinity.
David is loosing big time because of Trinity's poor products!!
I hope the best of luck and success to you! You are such a great driver!!
Nice chatting with you last night.. Hope everything works out for you in the long run. I know it will.. Hope to see you in a few weeks in cleveland for the holloween race.. Seems this race is going to be a real good start to the indoor season.. I am excited.. Hope you called AE we need one more driver on the onroad team :-)
John- I dont think that David is loosing any time because of "Trinity's Poor Products" as you stated lol. Josh left on the behalf of personal reasons not anything to do trinity product.
Josh- More Power to you playa, seeya at the Novak Race!
Thanks for all the kind words. It is appreciated. As far as where I'll end up I'm not really sure. I want to take my time finding a new home. I was in the middle of racing the 1/8 Worlds in Cinci and I wanted to wait till the race was over before I let any of this distract me from what I wanted to accomplish there. I have one more race to attend - Aussie Nats in Brisbane Australia and then I am going to find a ride for the comming season.
John - Yes, I remember you... As far as David, he manages his racing and career. We do talk a fair bit but you never know what's going to happen or where things will lead you..
Corey - You are right, my leave was because of business and personal issues with Trinity. I've won a lot of races and done very well with Trinity's products so for that I thank them for the support as well as say good bye and see-ya at the races!!!
On the topic of an "Ask Josh" thread I would love to do something like this here on this forum. After I get back from Australia then I will start it up so people can ask me questions just like in the past.
Good Luck in Brisbane Josh, I'm sure the Fantom will be dialled.
