Is a T1R any good on foam tires? im thinking of buying one and then slowly upgrading to the fk parts since i dont feel like spending all my money on a brand new kit, i have a friend that runs for bmi and i was think of going that route for a new chassis, and also what is the difference between the long and the short arms on carpet foam or rubber tire(stock or 19t)
thanks,
lazy

lazyboy - Yep, it's good...lol... The car won several races this year in both stock and mod!! The short a-arms are the way to go in all situations. Steering, traction, responce... short arms win in all catagories....
Adam - We cut the stock flex plate so it's only a single leg that comes straight out from the mounting screws. The plates were supposed to be softer origionally but the material we used for production wound up being a lot stiffer than we expected. We are working on a softer flex plate but I want to test it more making sure to using all the same material as production. Hopefully we will complete testing on it soon and it will be ready for the Worlds.....
josh just wonderin i noticed that the rear arms has 2 shock mounting holes inner and outer. stock settings use the outer hole. i was wondering what changes in handling if i use the inner hole. thanks!!!
