I remember when he first posted pics of his design here...most everyone thought the wing design was going to be too weak. Hopefully attaching it to the front arm will strengthen it but it sure makes it look kinda weird.

I like how the spur gear is protected from rear end knocks.

Can't wait to see more updated pics. I looked at the parts drawings and I'm still not sure how the rear suspension works on this car.

So if it sells for $275, I wonder what the shipping to the USA will be.

Looks like Tamiya front and rear wings will fit as well as Tamiya bodies, which is good news.

I am looking into the F1s. I love the scale factor. No racing. Just fun with a 5.5t brushless setup

Uncleaned public parking lot, smooth (LA Zoo parking lot to be precise.

Heres my TA05v2 at the lot

Well, the f1 cars don't fair too well on unclean (pebbly) lots.
If you really want to run an f1 car I would get the f109.
The car/parts are cheap so it wont hurt your feelings too much when you
scratch the chassis up.Also, because of the design of floating rear dampened pod it will handle uneven surfaces/rocks/pavement sealer ect. better.
Just make sure you jack up the ride height and it should be good to go.
Maybe a set of those nice treaded ride rubber tires would help too.
See the tqrcracing web page for tires.(think they are in Ca. but not 100%).

No I am not making them, I worked a deal with DDrive to sell them here in the states. I bought a small quantity of them and because of the price break they gave me, I can offer them a bit cheaper than it would cost you to buy it from Japan and pay the shipping from there.
I am also offering them as build to order rolling chassis, or I will also sell the parts as a kit to build it yourself.
PM me if interested
