I don't own one, but there was a guy at Horsham with one and it's sexxxay.

hi all,
i just got my first f1 car, its a 3racing f109 could anyone tell me what other bodies & wings set will fit this car, the body & wings that came with it looks ugly to me!
just one more thing, have i brought a good car? i was going to buy a tamiya f104 pro, would the tamiya been a better car?
i wait for replys,

If you watch the video I posted the orange car (one that was in 1st/2nd for the 1st 1:30 of the race) was a f109. He usually either tq's/win's or places high up in the ranks. It's a good car,just needs some bits (like better hardware) to make it great.

Default Doesn't look quite right...

The McLaren doesn't look quite right on the F104 chassis chassis. The suspension arms are in the wrong place. The upper arms are where the lower arms should be... It should look better on the F10, IMO.

Any of the wings designed for the F103 will fit although they might not "fit" all body styles/era.

Could anyone tell me why they have those additional links on the side of the damper?

they hold a "lever" that goes to the side link (that thing that keeps the pod from moving sideways)

Damper tubes the same as on the 1/12th scale cars instead of the friction discs

No, they are shafts with rings cut in them, that slide inside the damper tube. by changing the fluid you can control the dampening rate. CRC has used them for a long time. They work well, but require maintenance every couple of runs.
