I was tired of running with my never quite finish Ferrari 641 body, especially since SOCA F1 crowd races such good lookers.
So here is my new body fitted and ready to be painted, but what is it?
A little trivia for you F1 connoisseur's:
I Have the correct livery/paint/rear wing/wheels to make this body look like the car driven by J.Alesi to victory in the only G.P. he won in he's F1 career.
Which car is it? Do you know?
Will post photos when finish.
Cheers

Nice lookin car, and thank you for the props. Keep a couple things in mind though, I messed up alot of bodies to get to the point that im at. Also, I put quite a few hours into every car that I post on here. I dont mean to be defensive, or be a jerk or anything, but I have been doing this stuff for a long time, and for all the recent success' there have been plenty of failures. I have pics of my 104 posted on the 104 thread (the BAR Honda) and I did that one as my runner because I didnt want to put a ton of time into something that was going to get tore up on the track. My point is that what you are showing is a cleanly done runner. The thing that I keep finding is that every one that I do gets better and better, as well as the amount of time to do them gets a little shorter. These F1 cars are a lot different than painting a sedan, more involved, so I would encourage you to keep going and soak up everything that you can as to how to do these things. The biggest skill you can exercise is patience, I used to be very impatient and I made a lot of mistakes as a result of that.

And the trivia winner is...
Shumi2! Yes, it is the Ferrari 412T2.
Although the tamiya C is not exactly the best body for a 412T2 hopefully the livery will visually approach that car.
More about the 412T2 and congratulations to the trivia winner Shumi2.
The Ferrari's 412 T2 were quick and reliable from the get go. Unfortunately they were faced by an exceptionally quick driver, who now also had Renault power in the back of his Benetton. Berger and Alesi again racked up a large number of podium finishes and the Frenchman finally got his much desired win at the Canadian Grand Prix. At the end of the day there again was no stopping Schumacher, but Di Montezemolo had one or two more aces up his sleeve for the 1996 season.
Although not the most successful Ferrari by a long shot, the 412 T2 was able at times to take on the might of the Renault engined Williams and Benetton teams. It will also go in the history as the last V12 engined Ferrari F1 car.

O.K. F201 fans, here's my friends tight ride as of Sunday night. It's short so don't be disappointed. I hope this gets everyone's Monday fired-up! I got one more video in the production room. Please enjoy...
