Seriously....I must have been not paying attention or buzzed when I mounted the side pods. I taped them on first and started drilling holes for the screws and they must have shifted while doing so. I swear they were straight when I started

Akura, the wings are done from scratch with vinyl.
Car looks awsome Rod, as killer as Dish's studio shots are, there's something really cool about having the car on the track at Aliso. So how did it run?
I have been shoegooing the sidepods on, no screws, but the alignment is kind of tricky, you really need to have a good trimline to lock into to get them to align properly.

Awe...Brad, I thought you have an eagle eye for details...j/k. If you look carefully at the third (side view) picture, you can probably tell how it ran. It didn't The electronics are in my mini cooper at the moment so I ended up running that as one last hurrah before I transplant the speedo and receiver. I had an absolute blast running the mini again and may keep the gear in it because it was so much fun. So...long story short, I don't know when I'm going to run it

I think I've figured out what paint scheme I may do next as a "runner." I'm looking at a mixed 2001-2004 fantasy BAR scheme using the AMS sticker sheet that I've got. Hopefully the scheme will have some color variety that won't be time consuming (masking) as the Renault.

Hi guys,

I'm new to the hobby in general, and new to electric onroad. I recently aquired an F201. It came with a traxxas 20T motor, which i have to install. It has the alloy motor mount (not 3 racing.. the tamiya one). My problem is. I have a 22t pinion on the motor, and a 52t spur. However, the gears don't seem to even come close to touching.

I know stock for this car is 23t pinion and 52t spur, but does the extra tooth on the spur make so much difference? In any case, i can't seem to find a way to move the pinion closer to the spur. There are set bolts where the motor mounts to the engine mount, and there are set holes where the motor mount bolts to the chassis. neither of these can be moved without drilling new holes into the chassis.

Will a 23t pinion solve my problems? the reason i bought a 22t was because my hobby shop didn't have a 23t, they only had 22t and a 25t. What are my options? Appreciate any help.

Cheers

robk, where did you get that 2009 McLaren MP4/24 body? Looks great except for the front wing looks kinda home-made. Also, what car is that underneath?

It's a pic from the RCF1 GP series in Japan...I have no idea what's going on with the body, might be the Tech racing. The front end does look like the TRG car though.

That front wing looks like a rear wing from a tourer. Kind of a neat idea.

Default New Body for my F103R Autumn - Spring SOCA Seasson

I was tired of running with my never quite finish Ferrari 641 body, especially since SOCA F1 crowd races such good lookers.
So here is my new body fitted and ready to be painted, but what is it?

A little trivia for you F1 connoisseur's:
I Have the correct livery/paint/rear wing/wheels to make this body look like the car driven by J.Alesi to victory in the only G.P. he won in he's F1 career.

Which car is it? Do you know?

Will post photos when finish.

Cheers
