1/10 R/C F1's...Pics, Discussions, Whatever...
Hello guys! Does anyone happen to know what wings are cross-compatible with the Yokomo YRF001? It seems I have read that Tamiya fronts are close enough, but I really hope the Serpent aero fits because it looks awesome.

Nothing is 100% confirmed until AE reveals it as such
Having said that
The lead engineer on this project is the same guy that had a hand in all recent AE on-road chassis...
I've seen it in multiple iterations, work in progress
Looks impressive

It gets around the track pretty well too.
Been there, chased that.
Been there, chased that.
But it is nice to hear it looks impressive!
I am hoping for it to be a good platform for the outdoor asphalt track I race.

Nice car!
I have a very different question, not sure whether to post it here or in a forum about Rx/Tx stuff. But since I use it for F1, here we go.
I have a Sanwa M12 Tx, and it can do pretty much everything except for arranging lunch during race day. My wife takes care of that. But after last race, damp very slippery asfalt with a thin layer of fine sand dust, I hope my Tx can help me keep the rear wheels behind. There are three functions I am looking at, I hope you can advise from experience:
- Servo speed. I can slow down the servo (ESC in this case) so even if I press full throttle, it goes there only slowly. Do you guys use this, and does it work? I cannot find in the manual if it slows done the movement relative to my trigger movement, of relative to max speed? I hope the latter...
- Exponential. I used this on planes, but not on cars yet. Do you use it, negative values, on steering, and negative or positive values on throttle?
- Anti-Lock Braking; sounds to good to the true, anyone tried it?
Please educate me. I lack the time to go experimenting a lot, and we go from track to track during the season, so some basic guidelines would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Hugo

Will that Bitty Designs body fit the 2016 XRAY X-1? With the wider lower battery plate that the damper tubes mount to (wider than the 2015 model)?
Thanks
