Looks pretty good...I just finished masking off the body for my SP-1 and plan to lay down the paint tomorrow morning...Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out!

Some hard running in the F1 class at Indy RC last night. But, everybody did great. Here's pics of the cars that showed up. We were missing some of our regulars, but still had enough to run.
Going go check your web page to see where you guys are.......

yokomo yrf-001n
Some more photos of the yokomo build. No issues with this build thus far. Every part in this kit is quality, mostly aluminum and CF.

Well I'm so excited at how well this has turned out...I haven't assembled the body yet so I hope all the letters and lines line up when its all together. This is my first paint with my sign cutter and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I'm going to give it a couple more hours of drying before I assemble it but couldn't wait to show it off

I'm glad you had success with your cutter! Looks like it's going to be a pretty authentic looking livery! Can't wait to see it done!

We just had our first race of the summer season.
Only 5 cars started but it is enough to have fun.
Few pics f our rides.
2009 Ferrari(red wing) is mine. I won the race.
2009 McLaren was second despite the unique racing style
2012 Ferrari was 3rd
"Marlboro" McLaren was 4th
5th one did not race , he only drove the qualifying cause he had something else to do at the track (he was one of the organizers)
Pics taken from Here more pics there. thanks to BB from these.
Video of the race, a bit dull camera location though.

Nice pics/video! Looks like a lot of fun.
I am still building my F104v2 kit but had a question about the body.
What is the purpose of having detachable pontoons as opposed to just a 1 piece body? I noticed my Ferrari 2012 body has the option to cut it either way, but I don't what the difference is either way.

HELP!! FGX lower arms needed!
I need some help from someone, preferably somebody in California as the postage won't be too bad, I sold my FGX to a guy out there and was going to pick up a lower arm set today from someone at our UF1 Houston race but right when we were fixing to race it came a frog-strangler and everybody bugged out, I need to find someone with an extra stock bottom arm set, don't need the uppers, there are plenty of those in with the car, who can mail them to the guy I sold this car to, I'll pay for the part and the postage of course, but I just need the part to make this a solid deal on my part, I told him I would( the car has a repaired arm set on it that cracked but drives fine, but I told him I would make it solid) can anyone help me out? PM me and let me know, thanks.

Some F1 close race action at our challenge cup series, I think we had 22 F1's entered for the day.

I was the second car the Exotek Jordan 191.
leader was a Top racing F1, and 3rd was a good old F103.
We all lost the day to a very talented FGX driver who sat out the 3rd heat after winning the first 2.
Beth.

They do bring the back and sides of the shell in tight. Which can mean cutting material off to clear the chassis and wiring.
Aside from that the difference is you'll have to cut and fix the side pods on to the body. Tamiya supply small screws to do this. Some use super sticky double sided tape or certain glues to do it. Adds a touch of weight (not enough to worry about).
The Tamiya Ferrari F60 body also comes with that option. I find it easier to mask off a one piece body, rather than working out how three parts will need to line up.
Hope that helps.
