The front TCS tires are the 571's and they provide nice steering, i will try them in combination with 575 first and see from there if they are an improvement or not.

Not sure where best to post this, but I noticed that my tires (TCS) squeal quite bit more than the fastest cars (F104x1) at my track (carpet). My car (also x1)gets worse as the race goes on, losing grip on corner exit and steering entering and mid corner, as traction compound wears off. What can I do to get the car to quiet down and save the tires?

@MT 4, there are a couple of decal sets from F1Paintlabs that allow you to make a really good looking car with only one paint color. The Benetton B197 decals go on a car that is painted yellow. Pactra Daytona Yellow is close enough. Also, the Lotus and Caterham decals work on a single color body. If you haven't messed much with decals, I would suggest getting a good set of lexan scissors to cut them out and use a cap full of Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo mixed with water in a spray bottle from Wal Mart to "float" the decals into position. Fewer things more aggravating than getting most of the way through putting the decals on a body and getting one crooked.

I was going to say the same. I had used both the Lotus and Caterham sheets from F1Pantlab to finsh shells with one colour.

The Tamiya F60 shell can be finished with just red paint and the Mclaren with just silver or chrome.

At the moment i'm ussing the serial setup and the car is easy to drive, but i think that to drive in asphalt i'll need soft springs.

Does anybody make the new style F1 bodies like these?
With the thin/high nose?

Tamiya is showing a F2012 Ferrari kit, but the parts list is still showing the F60 Body: http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=51397

Try SXT 3.0 sauce. Will help prevent the tires from gumming up.

You could always sandblast and re-anodize. There are several people do / offer this service.

F1paintlabs offers 4 colors I believe for the F104 / FGX.

@Mike, I got a couple of Speed Passion F68 bodies from Brad at F1 Paintlabs. The price was quite reasonable. Considering the four noses and two dorsal fins the body comes with, I think it would be tough to spec a wing that would make everyone happy. The only thing I don't like about the body is the silly two piece lexan head. :-)
